automatic VPN Client connection when my W2K Server open a FTP connection

I would like to start automatiquely a VPN client (3.5) connection from my W2K server when it try to open a FTP session to a FTP server behind a PIX 6.2.

Is it possible ...

My W2K Server is directly connected to Internet (ADSL access) with a public address and the outside int. PIX has a public address too.

VPN Client 3.5 does not have this function at this moment.

But without using VPN client, you might be able to do this.

I suggest you to build up a VPN tunnel between windows 2000 server to a PIX.

It similar as a LAN to LAN VPN Tunnel but only from one host to another host.

If there is no interest traffic, the tunnel will not be built. When there is interest traffic like FTP, the VPN tunnel will be built.

Here is the sample config for Windows 2000 server to PIX :
