Avoiding logging out of XP when going on VPN

Hello.

I have a 4.8.00.0440 client and I'm very annoyed that every time I log onto the VPN, I need to log out of Windows XP and in again.

Do you know a way to avoid this?

Thank you.

I think its very odd, you can try uninstall the vpn client and install the same in Windows XP. Or try in different machine or the OS.

Thanks for your reply.

But I must say it doesn't seem very odd to me. I assume it's to mount network drives, run logon scripts etc.

But I can do that myself, so I would like to be able to control if it should log out.

I've reinstalled several times, different VPN versions, all on XP. Not gonna wipe my company laptop to avoid logging out and back in :)

Any comments?
