Is there a way to backup the config on the Concentrator in case of a hardware failure? Any information would be great.
Thank you,
Mike Greene

It's my understanding that the config file of a VPN 3000 concentrator can be TFTP'd to a TFTP server. I have done this in order to send the config to a Cisco engineer for review. I'm guessing, that once a replacement 3000 concentrator has gone through the basic config for all new boxes, that the config file can be TFTP'd back to the concentrator. This I have not done.

Mike is right. You can use either FTP or TFTP to backup the configuration file and restore it by copying the file back into the concentrator

The most simple way is to view the config file and then copy&paste it to a text file. This can be edited and be TFTP'd, FTP'd to the concentrator.
Of course it would be nice to have an auto-FTP feature to back it up automatically if needed
