Bandwidth Policing Period

What is the period of time that bandwidth policing on a VPN 3000 uses for it's bandwidth and burst calculations? Is this a configurable parameter? If so where can I find it?

Policing involves two thresholds: the policing rate and the burst size. The policing rate is the maximum limit on the rate of sustained tunneled traffic. The burst size indicates the maximum size of an instantaneous burst of bytes allowed before traffic is capped back to the policing rate. For more information, see the below link:

Right, but how is the rate averaged? Is it over 1 second, 10 seconds, one minute?
