I am trying to decide if a VPN 3005 is going to be worth it. We currently have Pix-to-Pix VPN tunnel setup between 520 and 515. We are going to be having people connect to the 515's over VPN multiple times daily. What would buying a 3005 Concentrator and placing it with the 515 get me? Faster tunnel? Easier to manage connections, access, etc?
I have a 515, a 506 and a 3005 at my site. I have found the 3005 to be worth it's price in time savings, monitoring and configuration issues. It is much easier to me to manage and especially to monitor. I don't think it will get you any faster though but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
