Blocking Device

I've a IDS 4235 and i'd like to using the blocking feature for certain signatures. Can I use a CAT3550 as the blocking device?

.. to add.. I checked the information and only see 'Router, CAT 6k and PIX' as possible blocking devices, hence i'm wondering whether an CAT3550-24-EMI can be used?
