booting from flash

there are 2 images in the flash. the 2nd one has been recently downloaded from a tftp server. the router is booting from the 1st image . i want to change the boot sequence of the router from the 2nd image from flash. i tried to give commands like:

router(config)#boot system flash name(2nd image)

and reloaded

still i think the router is booting from the 1st image. i saw the sh version output.

can anyone pl help me solve this problem

make sure you do a no boot systems flash (filename 1)

then a boot system rom. your config should say:

boot system flash:filename2

boot system rom

slap station on the console port and watch...your

downloaded image could be corrupted.

Router (config)# boot system flash NEW-IMAGAE-NAME

Router (config)# config-register 0x010F

Hey try out the above and the result should be positive. Let me know whether if it works.
