Border Router ACL - standard vs. extended

Are there any performance implications of using one or the other?

no.

If you're concerned about acl performance, try to configure Turbo ACL.

If you're talking about a GSR, be really carefull since you can really get bad performance depending on how you configure ACL and on what type of lince card.

Re: Border Router ACL - standard vs. extended

I'm concerned about ACL performance. Thanks for the tip on Turbu ACL. I have a 7204 and that worked for me. But my original question is this: Is there a performance difference between standard and extended ACL's? (In my case I could use either). Thanks
