BSOD with VPN Client

Since yesterday i'm facing deep trouble with my XP SP2 machine. Out of the blue the pc gets a BSOD everytime i want to use the vpn client for WLAN, no software or other stuff were installed before. I deinstalled the client and wanted to upgrade to version 4.7.00.0533 and get also a BSOD during the installation: stop at 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x8*******, 0xF*******, 0x00000000) [* varies during different tries]. Any help is highly appreciated! Regards silverman1

Re: BSOD with VPN Client

I found the solution for my problem and wanted to report about it. The installed Kaspersky Antivirus software causes these deep troubles. To manage it open Kaspersky, go to

settings -> realtimeprotection -> network

and remove the hook on top (i have a german version installed, translation should fit). Now everything will be working fine with the vpn client.

Thanks jackko for thinking about my problem.
