Folks,
Can the blaster work effect a router. Recently i heard from someone that they could view the config of a router and called cisco and cisco told them that it might have been the blaster worm.
how does blaster get into the router?
how do we protect a router from being infected?
Thanks

Routers are NOT susceptible to infection from Blaster, or any other known worms. Their CPU will probably go up as they have to route more packets from infected hosts trying to infect other hosts, but other than that they're not effected.
