Can servers on the same dmz talk to each other?

Can the servers on the same dmz talk to each other? Do I need to do anything on the pix side to enable this? Thanks!

Re: Can servers on the same dmz talk to each other?

Yes, servers on the same dmz can talk to each other. It's just as though they are on the same LAN. If you have 2 servers on the same DMZ with address' of something like this

192.168.252.34 and

192.168.252.33 they will be able to talk just like they were on their own LAN.

This of course assumes that you have the connection to the physical DMZ port on the PIX connected to a sharing device like a hub or switch and subsequently connect your devices to that switch.
