CCA does not appear to be managing switch ports in OOB Virtual Gateway mode

I'm trying to setup a lab to demo CCA for CCA using the OOB Virtual Gateway deployment. Followed all the instructions in the manuals (v4) but they do seem a bit light on with the details for the switch config. I have setup the CAM to manage the LAB switch, but when I connect a laptop to a managed port it gets no challenge, just gets DHCP address passes straight through.

Debugging on the switch shows no SNMP traffic generated from anything. Community strings are correct, CAM can configure the switch, there are no exemptions in the profiles of the CAM, VLAN mappings are all OK. What else should I be looking at???

somthing along the lines of:

int f5/0/24

description Clean Access port

switchport mode access

snmp trap mac-notification added

snmp trap mac-notification removed

snmp-server enable traps MAC-Notification

snmp-server community snmp-community

snmp-server host CAM_SERVICE_IP snmp-community

And set the port to be managed on the CAM.

Hi,

How did you manage to get the eth1 to work. I get "HOSTFLAPPING" errors in the core switch when I connect the eth1 port to the switch. I have configured trunks on the core switch to the eth0 & eth1 ports of the CAS.
