CCNP Security Certification !

Hi all,

I have question which i went through all of the cisco related web  hope to found my answer. but i did not find the answer.

I have participated CCNP Security course.

640-802 (CCNA)                 - FAILED

640-554 (CCNA Security)    - PASSED

642-637 ( SECURE)            - PASSED

642-618 (FIREWALL)          - PASSED

642-648 (VPN)                    - PASSED

642-627 (IPS)                     - PASSED

all of them finished in NOV 3 in 2012. It looks like if i take CCNA (640-802) exam it will complete CCNP Security certification. I wondering is there any due date which i take CCNA (640-802) ?

If i pass the CCNA (640-802) will CCNP Security cert valid date will be from June 08 in 2013 or from NOV 03 in 2013.

The 640-802 exam is only being offrerd through 30 September 2013 at which time you will have to take the new version 2.0 exam (200-120).

My understanding of dates is as follows:

When you pass the final exam required for your CCNP Security (and assuming none of the earlier exams have expired - i.e. all within 3 years of the final required exam pass date) your certfication will be issued with a valid period of 3 years beginning with the date of the final required exam passed.

I would doublecheck with certification support for a definitive answer though:

Thank you, i was aware of 640-802 being expiring. Will do 640-802 before Sep 30 2013 to have my CCNP Sec certifcation.
