CET encryption

I have customer who is using Cisco 3640 in Hub and Spoke VPN scenario. He is using CET and does not want to switch to IPSec, but he needs more performance on the hub router. I wonder, if I can use Hardware VPN module for 3600 router to accelerate CET traffic?
