We upgraded our internet connection to a full T1. Prior to this it was 640Kbps up and down. Our remote access client VPN users have noticed a minor increase in speed but not enough to justify the new T1. They were getting 400Kbps down through the VPN and now they are getting about 600Kbps down through. This has been tested from various locations to eliminate the possibility of the remote access user's internet connection being the slow connection. All connections top out at around 600Kbps when using a VPN. The speed difference is obvious from the same client locations when not using the VPN (downloading a file, etc.). Is there anything that I can modify on the VPN config that will let it take advantage of the increased speed?
