I'm studying for my CCNA ICND exam and i have this dumb question(i'm sorry but i just need to be sure of it):
Suppose i have 2 routers - Router1(pass:mom) and Router2(pass:dad) - is this configuration is right?:(only CHAP-wise)
Router1
-------
>username Router2 password xxx
>interface bri 0
>encapsulation ppp
>ppp authentication chap
Router2
--------
>username Router1 password xxx
>interface bri 0
>encapsulation ppp
>ppp authentication chap
when i enter the username and password in router1 - does it have to be the user and pass of router 2? or just the username/password ?

I believe that is correct. We bypass this problem by making it the same password on both ends, but I think you have it right.
