It is not so much a question of platform - it is also a question of the features you are wanting to utilise. Cisco Secure ACS (UNIX) and Cisco Secure ACS (Windows) are two very different AAA servers. ACS (Windows) has many features that the UNIX version does not have i.e. support for WLANs, PIX AAA integration etc.
