Cisco 3030: Number of LAN-to-LAN tunnels

This brochure page: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/pcat/3000.htm#xtocid144324 claims the Cisco 3030 handles "up to 1500 simultaneus sessions".

THIS documentation page:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/vpn/vpn3000/vpn3kco/vcoug/usr_3_0/tunnel.htm

claims that the 3030 only supports 500 lan-to-lan connections.

Is it 500 ? or is it 1500 ? Whats the difference between a 'session' and a 'lan-to-lan connection' ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Cisco 3030: Number of LAN-to-LAN tunnels

Well really, it’s a combination of both. The LAN-to-LAN will probably have multiple clients’ transverse the same tunnel (session) while the remote users all create a session of their own.

for IPsec... We need three session for each site

So it can support 1500 session and 500 Site..
