Cisco 7140, how can I detect the installed mem size

Hello,

Cisco7140-2MM3.

I has to show, what size of mem is installed.

Eg. MEM-7100-FLD128M, MEM-7120/40-256S. Didn't found the correct command (sho version used...)

Thanks Ruedi

Re: Cisco 7140, how can I detect the installed mem size

I don't think there is a CLI command you can enter to display which memory modules you have installed. From the show version, you could determine what size your flash disk is...either MEM-7100-FLD48M= or MEM-7100-FLD128M=.

There are a couple rules to installing the SDRAM, so if you know how much total SDRAM you have installed (from the show version)... you should be able to determine which modules you have installed.

Here is the link with the restrictions and part numbers:

Thanks. I have opened chassis, to show where the MEM are installed (DIM1 or DIM2), as described in URL above. Problem solved.
