Cisco 770 and 3Com Internett Firewall 25

Hei!

When i try to setup a 3Com Internett Firewall 25 with a Cisco770, then the firewall is unable to communicate with the router. When we are using the router without the firewall, then the communication is OK.

The firewall is connected to the LAN through an 3Com Superstack II 24port hub 10/100 (3c16593A).

The WAN and LAN led on the firewall is on.

Any one haveing any idea on what the problem is.

Re: Cisco 770 and 3Com Internett Firewall 25

Hi,

are the devices doing NAT/PAT? If this is the case, is inbound traffic on the Cisco 770 then being forwarded to the outside NAT/PAT ipaddress of the 3com firewall?

Kind Regards,

Tom

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

No, the device is not doing NAT/PAT.
