Hi,
I'm new with Cisco licencing... I have Cisco ASA 5505 product in home with base licence with 10 hosts limit. More information below.
I bought upgrade "L-ASA5505-10-UL=" to remove hosts limit and I got certificate with PAK. But when I go to Cisco licencing site to get activation key with this PAK I'll get error message below.
Unfortunately I don't have support contract so I can't open Service Request as said.
Any help what to do??
Error message:
Wrong Sku(s) 'L-ASA5505-10-UL=' for 'ASA5505-BUN-K9' : Device contains following licenses 'ASA5500-ENCR-K9'
Serial Number = JMX1526Zxxx
We're sorry, but the new serial number provided is not the same platform type as the failed serial number. An upgrade request is not allowed.
If you would like any assistance in the resolution of this issue, please open a Service Request using the TAC Service Request Tool

Is it an auto reply, or did someone actually reply? Licensing rep should reply to your email. They would be able to rehost the license for you.

Email licensing@cisco.com, and they would be able to help you with the activation key.

Thanks, I have tried licencing@cisco.com but they only replied with web-links to presales and partner contacts.
I am home user, so to make contact with presales is the last option.

It's quite a generic mail some links but nothing about case itself. I'll try again...
