You'll need to pick a version that has either

ADVANCED SECURITY or IPSEC 3DES

Here is a link for 12.3 software

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/Iosplanner/Planner-tool/iosplanner.cgi?get_crypto=&data_from=&hardware_name=1751&software_name=&release_name=&majorRel=12.3&state=:HW&type=

Make sure you meet the memory requirements.

Hope that helps!

Hello sudermaniak,

The answer is yes. You'll need to be running an image that supports crypto. Here is a basic link on configuring a typical IPSec connection with private addressing on both sides.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a008009448f.shtml

You can find many other IPSec configuration examples here

Hope that helps! If so, please rate.

Thanks

Hello !

Thanks for Your reply.

I think these examples are very good, I just need to check it in reality, so don't worry I'll rate.

How do I check if my C1751 supports crypto ?

I know that it uses IOS ver. 12.2(15)T9.

Type the following

Router# config t

Router(config)#crypto ?

If you get output, then the router supports crypto. If the router complains that the command is not understood, then it doesn't.

Hope that helps!

Yes it helps but my c1751 doesn't support crypto :(

Do You know maybe which IOS do I have to obtain to make my c1751 support crypto ?
