I have a solution with a Cisco 2600 as Tunnel endpoint for users with Cisco secure VPN client 1.1. I'm facing a problem with IP pool: after about 2 months, the ip pool shows no free ip to allocate. I guess that some connections ends and release the address, others no. Does anybody have a tip? How to clear the sessions and release the IP.
Re: Cisco device x Cisco Secure VPN Client x IP pool
When you run into this problem, issue a "sh ip local pool " command to see how many addresses are available in the pool. If you do not see any addresses, then get "sh ip route" from the router, to check where it has allocated the ip addresses
You can also do " sh crypto ip sa", but depending on the number of tunnels, the output can be huge
Login to the FXOS chassis manager.
Direct your browser to https://hostname/, and log-in using the user-name and password.
