It's definately not limited to one client, wouldn't be much use in that.
Are you still in testing mode here, and if so, are the two PIX client devices behind the same device doing NAT/PAT? If so then it's probably just that the NAT/PAT device can't handle the traffic properly.
If not, what exactly do you mean by "but we are unable to authenticate a second client." What are you seeing exactly, what authentication are you using? Can you run teh debugs listed in the Troubleshooting section of the URL and send them in when the second PIX fails.
