CISCO IDS Not working

Hi,

I have a Cisco IDS 4210 SENSOR AND I purged the database to get rid of the old records. After that this morning, it is not functioning anymore. Please let me know how I should solve this.

What version of sensor are you running?

Which database did you purge? The management software database?

Which management software are you using?

I am using the CSPM to generate the web reports for the IDS alarms. I purged the CSPM Database and then now I recieve notifications of alarms by emails but then the sensor is not sending it to the the CSPM. It was fine until last night but just slow in generating the reports.

If my sensor will not report to the CSPM and the CSPM does not generate the webreports, Do I have to reinstall the CSPM? Is this the only solution?
