Cisco License Manager

I recently downloaded and installed the Cisco License Manager client on my PC. Will the implementation of the new EoDB3 License Registration Portal have any effect on my use of CLM? What are the merits of using the Portal versus the CLM client?

CLM provides a graphical user interface (GUI) that simplifies installation and helps enable you to automate license acquisition, as well as perform multiple licensing tasks from a central location. You can also use the Cisco License Manager application programming interface (API) to create your own programs for performing licensing tasks.
