Cisco Pix 515 Authenticate with Cisco ACS

Hi NetPro,

Currently, i am facing some problem which is Firewall Authenticate with Cisco ACS. i've added the command "aaa-server AuthInbound protocol tacacs+" and " aaa-server AuthInbound (outside) host 172.17.xxx.xxx cisco timeout 5 "

but, still cant authenticate ... does anyone know or encountered this before ? any idea ?

Hello Jack,

Which traffic are you trying to authenticate ? telnet ?? console ???

you need to add another command:

aaa authentication telnet console AuthInbound

YOu also need to check the configs on the ACS server. Make sure you have added the PIX IP and the TACACS key correctly on the ACS server.
