I have cisco pix 515E, 64MB flash & 128MB RAM, I have upgraded my cisco pix ver. 6.3(5) to ver 7.0(4), after upgrading my pix CPU process is hitting high. Now I am afraid to upgrade to other image on that. can any one suggest me on this?

Hi Anand,
Before anything else first try making assesment on what could be the issue, try fine tuning the firewall by going through the check list in bellow link to fisrt rule out all those listed in link or even spot the possible causes on high cpu.
ASA/PIX Performance check list

Second if all above seems not to be the problem I would suggest try using the last GD (General Deployment) image in the 7.0 train which is version 7.0(8), I have looked at 7.0(8) resolved caveats which do have several bugs reported on 7.0 for high cpu based on some specific conditions . Have a look at release notes carefully as well specially resolved bugs pertaining to high cpu and if possible read those reported bugs in bug tool database.
