Cisco Pix Problems

We have a number of SDSL users (BT IP Stream)working from home. They connect from home to our network via a Draytek router. After power up of the router which has a user name and password it is given from our radius server an internal address of 10.180.0.* which is correct. After this initial connection we then open up our VPN Client on the Pc and connect, this client connects to our Cisco 525 which after authentication we are returned an address of 192.168.168.*, this is from a pool of addresses on our cisco Pix.After this we can now ping servers on our network and obviously the interface that these people connect to on our pix. The problem that we have is that after a period of time (random) we suddenly loose ping to the PiX interface and ofcourse our servers for no apparent reason. After leaving the router for some time we regain ping to the Cisco Interface (not all the time). Anyone any ideas? or help please?

Thanks Jim

First think to check is your PIX license. Check the maximum concurrent connections and VPN peers as well.

Let me know what happens,

Regards,

Hi

We have an unlimited license. Sometimes we have had two users on and the pix has thrown us off and on other occasions we have had as many as eight users on before we have lost connectivity.

Cheers Jim
