Cisco router 871 to a netscreen 25

Hi,

I wonder if some one exceded to setup a vpn tunnel between an cisco router and an netscreen 25.

The problem we have is that the router i can't find a manner to setup a vpn tunnel to a netscreen. I searched but didn't find any thing.

The normal vpn to the cisco router work ( with a cisco vpn client ) but we ( my employer ) want to find out if it can be worked out that we can make a vpn tunnel.

How will a basic setup looks. A vpn tunnel between 2 cisco routers works. I hope someone can help me out with this problem.

Re: Cisco router 871 to a netscreen 25

Fred,

There is no specific sample configuration on setting up a IPSEC Tunnel between a Cisco Router and Netscreen. But, you use below example, which discusses configuring IPSEC Tunnel between a Pix and Netscreen. This should give an idea of what is to be configured on the Netscreen.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a00801c4445.shtml

And also, Router to Pix Sample Configuration:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a0080094498.shtml

Using the above two sample configuration documents, you should be able to configure the IPSEC Tunnel between Router and Netscreen.

Let me know if it helps.

Regards,

Arul
