cisco router building site to site vpn with small vpn box

Hi, Guys,,,

I am currently trying to find anyone who has set up the cisco router

building site to site vpn with other small VPN box (linksys or dlink...etc)..

could anyone give me some advice ?

Linksys routers support IPSec connections only on firmware versions 1.34 or later (1.39 is the latest version). The IPSec pass through should be enabled on the Linksys router.

I did some testing (that where working) with Netopia routers (R910) but the throuput was no really good; as soon we were using des or 3des , the speed was dropping terribly and the cpu use of the netopia router was always almost at 100%. we were already using those netopia box as "cheap" lan to lan solution but with pptp and mppe encryption and I have to admin they're performing well in this setup.

But our testings convinced us to get back to 831 or 1710 Cisco's for our more "serious" design.
