Cisco SAFE Solution - Deploying patches/updates to DMZ server software
I'm wondering what's the most secure solution to deploy software patches or updates to the servers on the DMZ in a Cisco SAFE SMB environment.
Downloading the software from the Internet to a workstation and and making it available on an internal management FTP server seems to be a much more secure solution than downloading it directly from the Internet to the DMZ servers... But what about Microsoft updates, for example? They require direct access to the website, am I correct?
