Can anyone share their experiences with Cisco Secure Desktop and SSL VPNs on
the ASA 5510? The Cisco Secure Desktop runs too slow to be usable. Has
anyone else had this problem?
Also, any tips for securely deploying a SSL VPN would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have used the VPN concentrator 3015 as the VPN end for SSL VPN and it works fine. I have not used the Secure Desktop though. Cisco website can give you good information on SSLVPN. Cisco calls it WebVPN.

I've also seen Secure Desktop be slow. Unless the machine you are on is fast, and has a high bandwidth connection it's not practical. Very limited practical use, and ultra poor performance. Not a worthwhile product if you ask me.
