Cisco VPN 4.8 client users fail when using AT&T DSL?

We have a Cisco PVN 3005 Concentrator, and have no issues with connectivity for any of our users EXCEPT those who are on AT&T DSL who didn't get it with a router bundle (i.e. just the raw modem). For these users, even though they have purchased their own DSL modem, they can authenticate and connect to the VPN 3005, but the VPN client never completes the "add route" function to create the necessary local routes on their client to allow connectivity to our internal corporate networks.

Any ideas?

Make sure that the UDP port 500, and Protocol 50 and 51 are NOT being blocked somewhere. Does the tunnel come up? Can you ping by private address? On your client what ip address are you getting assigned when you tested.
