Cisco VPN client and Active directory

We have remote users connecting to our internal network via cisco vpn client and PIX is configured to act as VPN server. The PIX OS is 6.3.1 and cisco vpn client is ver 3.6.4.

The authentication is handle by the Microsoft IAS server and this server is registered in the Active directory.

My question is when a user connects via vpn, Microsot IAS server authenticates the user and he/she can access all the resources on the w2k domain without any problem, but the users logon scripts never gets executed. When they connect locally on the network the logon script is executed and the drives are mapped.

Are they connecting with the vpn before logging on to the machine? They probably are logging on to their machine with cached domain credentials, and then making a vpn connection, at which point login scripts will not run
