Cisco VPN Client and IPX

I understand that in order to use IPX over an IPSEC tunnel, GRE must be used for encapsulating the IPX protocol.

My question is, does this work between the Cisco VPN Client 3.5.1 and an IOS router with IPSEC and GRE support, or is a router required at both ends of the tunnel?

GRE is not supported on the VPN client. You need 2 routers to do GRE/IPSec.
