Cisco VPN Client connection to remote lan ?

Hello,

does anyone know if it is possible to connect from a PC via cisco vpn client to a pix 501 and then reach the remote lan the pix is connected to ?

To make it more clearly:

the pix 501 is connected via ipsec tunnel to a cisco vpn 3005 concentrator.

The pix also can handle a cisco vpn client connection from which I can reach the pc´s inside the lan.

Is it also possible to reach the remote lan ?

regards

Kai

in order to redirect the crypto traffic, pix v7 is required. unfortunately, pix 7 doesn't support 501.

Re: Cisco VPN Client connection to remote lan ?

So to be sure I am right:

With pix 501 it is only possible to work in the lan the pix is connected to ?

And when I want to work in the other lan the pix is connected to over ipsec I have to use a pix greater than 501 which can handle the PIX Version 7 is this right ?

Thanks a lot

Re: Cisco VPN Client connection to remote lan ?

according to the original post.

subnet a <--> pix a <--> www <--> remote vpn client

subnet a <--> pix a <--> www <--> pix b <--> subnet b

with pix a running v6.x, remote vpn client connected to pix a will not be able to access subnet b; even there is a lan-lan vpn between the pix a and pix b.

further, pix v7 supports 515/515E and above.
