Cisco VPN Client Version 5 and VPN Concentrator 3000

I have just purchased a new laptop that has Windows Vista on it. The Cisco VPN Client version 4.0.1 is the only piece of software that would require me to downgrade to Windows XP.

Will the Cisco VPN Client 5 software work with our VPN concentrator 3000?

Also, is the version offered by resellers for ~$40 version 5?

I think VPN client 5 will work with VPN concentrator 3000. Following link may help you

The vista VPN client will work to connect to a VPN concentrator.

If you have a valid CCO ID with a contract, you should be able to get the client version 5.x
