Cisco VPN clients affect PC normal behaviour.

Unfortunately I found a customer that after Cisco VPN client good installation blames that nobody else could reach his workstation via IP. I mean that his PC was not able anymore to receive IP Packet (PING, FTP and so on). He also enabled a Sniffer on the same PC but it doesn't capture anything.

Uninstalling VPN client all start to function well again. He tried this thing several times but all gave the same result.

PC is an HP Notebook equipped with Windows 2000.

Is there anybody aware of this possible condition or that experienced a similar situation ?

Thanks

Marco

Sounds like Stateful Firewall was enabled in VPN client properties.

Hi,

Pointing to the Bulit in Stateful Firewall on the CVPN Client, Kindly try installing the client again and then disable the Firewall by going under the Properties, and then try accessing it again.
