CISCO VPN5000 No matching configuration

Hello All:

I have linux at home running CISCO client VPN version 5.1.5.

when I tried to open_tunnel what I got is

No matching configuration for "tclin" and "206.171.xx.x" <--- my company VPN server IP

The folowing are additional info maybe helpful

for someoen to help me.

This problem is neither complex or rare. It's just a Linux issue, so no one wants to help (there's not enough $$$ in it for them).

The problem is this:

You need to specify a partner alias in your vpn_config file. It looks like your config file is perfect other than that.

Just add this to the top of the file:

[VPN Partner Aliases]

blah=206.171.xx.x

Then, when you call open_tunnel, do this:

open_tunnel -d eth0 blah tclin
