clearing recovered passwords

PIX v 6.3, I had to use the np63.bin password recovery to regain access to the FW. When the firewall reboots and wr term is executed, I still can see the following in the config after instructing the recovery tool to erase the commands.

enable password 8Ry2YjIyt7RRXU24 encrypted

passwd 2KFQnbNIdI.2KYOU encrypted

How can I remove this from the config?

Re: clearing recovered passwords

If I had to guess, I would say that you should try entering new passwords, and these should overwrite whatever the old ones were

Re: clearing recovered passwords

I did that and it locked me out again and had to use NP63.bin. For some strange reason, I can access the system with no password.
