CLIENT VPN and RADIUS

We have a PIX 515 and I would like to set up RADIUS authentication for the remote users that will be connecting. How do I set up the PIX to use LOCAL authentication if the RADIUS Server is down?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

Re: CLIENT VPN and RADIUS

The local database on the PIX Firewall can be used to authenticate EXEC connections like Telnet and Secure Shell (SSH).

To add users to the local database, issue the username username {[{nopassword , password password} [encrypted]] [privilege level]} command.

Note: This command can also be used to determine privilege level.

For an explanation on privilege levels and information on configuring the username command, refer to the following URL.
