Concern about confidentiality of postings

My question concerns the security of postings here.

Is it possible that someone involved in *footprinting* or gathering information on a company in preparation for an intrusion attempt, could cull information from this unsecured site and utilize it in compromising network security?

Just a humble inquiry. Thanks for your attention.

Hi Mike,

In all cases, confidential and/or proprietary information should not be shared amongst the general public. Technical inquiries involving such information should be directed to our Technical Assistance Center.

Thank you for your inquiry.
