Configure PIX for VPN

To configure the PIX 50x firewall for supporting the VPN, I have two questions:

1)Is the configuration web-based? i.e., I only need a PC connect to the firewall equipment, then start the configuration via my PC's web browser (using wizards)?

2.Do I need a CD to install some software on my PC for this purpose (configuration of the firewall?

YES, you can use the PIX Device Manager (PDM) to configure your PIX Firewall. There is a VPN wizard that helps you to setup your VPN settings.

You just need a browser with JAVA and cookies enabled then it should rock.

I personaly do not touch the PDM I prefer using command line (CLI) to have control over the PIX.
