Configuring Tacacs host with a hostname

Actually this is not a specific AAA question, but I suppose this is the best forum to ask.

While configuring the Tacacs server for 5300, I enter:

tacacs-server host tacacs.foo.com

However, this is immediately looked up for IP address and the corresponding address stored in the config. Some time later, when I change the address of the TACACS server, 5300 stop authenticating. As far as I remember, there are a number of commands behaving similarly.

Is there a way to referance host name in the config thus allowing a permenant entry ?

Thanks for any idea.
