Connecting Pix501 to DSL

Hi all - I am trying to help out a friend linking his two offices together via VPN using pix 501. Each site has the static ip. The firewalls are configured fine (to the best of my knowledge) but when in console I cannot ping out to the internet.. I "think" it has to do with PPoE of the DSL Modem. Any hints tips or links to some setup docs for THIS type of setup. Please spare the basic setup I am looking for something for this type of case.

Setup is ISP DSL into the site. Then eth0 connected to dsl intferace via crossover then eth1 connected to lan switch via straight through cable.

Re: Connecting Pix501 to DSL

ICMP is not a stateful protocol you need to use ACLs for the ping to reach from one to the other interfce asd the ICMP commands to receive pings from the network that is directly connected to the interface.
