Correct syntax to halt a 4210 sensor

What is the correct way to halt the 4210 sensor in order to power it off with the power button? If you type init 0 or init 6 as ROOT, it reboots. Please set me straight! Thanks.

'init 0' should not reboot the appliance. It is the recommended method for preparing any of the CSIDS appliances to be powered off at this time. If your system is rebooting after you issue an 'init 0', there may be another problem with your 4210. How long have you had your system? And when did you first notice this problem?
