CSA 4.0.1 upgrade to 4.0.3-737 problem on Agents registration

Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded my 4.0.1(VMS2.2) CSA to 4.0.3-737. Then, on the client servers on which I am going to install Agent, I downloaded the "new" agent package from Url--Https://<CSMMC>/csamc/kits, and perform the installation. But after the installation, the agent cannot poll to CSAMC. I have cropped the log as shown in the following. These "non-successful" server both are SMTP server. On another Web server, the agent can poll to CSAMC.

I have tried to find some documents about the error code=2030, but didn't success.

Anyone could help me?

Hi Jason!

Just a few ideas to consider:

1. Did the web server that was able to poll the CSAMC have its Kit installed before or after the two SMTP servers that cannot poll?

2. Do you have available licenses for the servers?

3. Have you given any thought to upgrading to 4.5.1? It is much more stable in my opinion than 4.0.3.

I want to ask what is the meaning of the statement "includes 3 server agents for VMS servers only" which I met in the Cisco CSAMC Download page?

Does it mean in customer environment there are 3 VMS servers that can use CSA Agent and the 4th VMS server cannot?

Hi!

I downloaded this update to my test server and the description means that you will receive 3 VMS Server agents. Somebody please correct mean if I'm wrong.

There were no CSA desktop agents included in the update. My guess is that the product has met with so much success that Cisco no longer needs to give the desktop agents away. All of my customers have loved this product so I don't blame them!

Hi,

Does anybody know the meaning of error code 2030? There is no any clue found on cisco.
