My client started w/ a local (MSDE) installation. He would like to move to a full SQL server on a remote box.
I understand the process to upgrade the MSDE to SQL 2000 locally. However the client would like to migrate an MSDE instance straight to a new remote full SQL server? Is this possible? I've scoured everything and found no documentation on this. The big mystery to me is getting the MC to identify the new db it has to write to. Is there not some registry settings on the CSA MC box that would need to change to point tht MC to the right db location?
