CSPM 2.3.Ii crashing with stack overflow

Hi All,

The system I had running has worked fine but then the Alerts reached the limit set in preferences.

I deleted all rows and cleared out the alerts.

The CSPM keeps crashing now everytime I go into the view alerts option with the following message:

An Application error has occurred and

an application error log is being generated

fms.exe

Exception: stack overflow (0x0000fd), Address: 0x10266e2f)

A reboot does not fix the problem. I tried a reset as a last resort and that did not work either.

I assume I will have to deinstall and reinstall CSPM to get around it.

Any ideas or is this a known bug

How much memory do you have on your system?

Please run the "cvtnrlog -d" command from

the command line and let us know what you see.

Hi,

The system is

Compaq DL360 866Mhz

256 MB Ram

18.2 GB Hard disk

NT 4.0 SP6a

I had to deinstall and reinstall the software.

The problem went away.

I am going to upgrade to CSPM 2.32i and wait and see
